Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice and the Manifestation of Sarasvatī

with Tīrtha-Merit Teachings

एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । आह नाहं स्वतंत्रास्मि पिता मे व्रियतां स्वराट्

evamuktā tu sā devī viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | āha nāhaṃ svataṃtrāsmi pitā me vriyatāṃ svarāṭ

So von Viṣṇu angesprochen, antwortete jene Göttin: „Ich bin nicht unabhängig; lass meinen Vater, den Herrscher, in dieser Angelegenheit befragt werden.“
