इति श्रुत्वा तु तद्वाक्यं पादयोः पतितां स्नुषाम् । आशीर्भिरभियुज्यैनां बभाषे तां पतिव्रताम्

iti śrutvā tu tadvākyaṃ pādayoḥ patitāṃ snuṣām | āśīrbhirabhiyujyaināṃ babhāṣe tāṃ pativratām

Als er jene Worte vernahm, wandte er sich an die Schwiegertochter, die zu seinen Füßen lag; nachdem er sie zuerst mit Segensworten bedacht hatte, sprach er zu jener treuen Gattin.
