Ratnagrīva’s Pilgrimage and the Prescribed Procedure for Visiting Sacred Tīrthas

क्षत्त्रिया धन्विनो वीरा वैश्या वस्तुक्रयाञ्चिताः । शूद्राः संसारनिस्तारहर्षित स्वीयविग्रहाः

kṣattriyā dhanvino vīrā vaiśyā vastukrayāñcitāḥ | śūdrāḥ saṃsāranistāraharṣita svīyavigrahāḥ

Die Kṣatriyas sind heldenhafte Bogenschützen; die Vaiśyas sind mit Handel sowie Kauf und Verkauf von Gütern befasst; und die Śūdras, erfreut über die Befreiung aus dem Saṃsāra, sind ihrem leiblichen Dienst im ihnen zugewiesenen Werk ergeben.
