शेष उवाच । इत्युक्तवंतं स्वपतिं वीक्ष्य प्रेम्णा सुनिर्भरम् । प्रत्युवाच हसंतीव किंचिद्गद्गदभाषिणी

Śeṣa sprach: Als sie so ihren eigenen Gemahl ansah, der auf jene Weise gesprochen hatte, erwiderte sie—von Liebe ganz erfüllt—gleichsam lächelnd, mit einer Stimme, die etwas von Rührung erstickt war.
