The Goddess (Devī)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: celestial_realm
Sandhi Resolution Notes: सर्वान्देवानुवाच = सर्वान् + देवान् + अनुवाच; वरदाहं = वरदा + अहम्.
The speaker is Devī (the Goddess), and she is addressing all the Devas (gods), inviting them to choose a boon.
It emphasizes divine grace (prasāda) and the Goddess’s role as varadā—one who grants boons when pleased, highlighting the relational aspect of devotion and supplication.
It suggests that benevolence and blessings arise when the divine is approached in a way that leads to harmony and satisfaction—often implying sincerity, reverence, and right conduct.
