Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa

Nachdem man erneut in Siddhasthāna gebadet hat, soll man die dortigen Liṅgas verehren. Der Sterbliche, der sie in unzählbarer Menge verehrt, wird auf Erden ein Siddha, geistig Vollendeter.

FAQs

It teaches that tīrtha-snana (ritual bathing at a sacred site) combined with devoted liṅga-pūjā generates exceptional puṇya, culminating in siddhi—spiritual accomplishment experienced even in embodied life.

Bhakti is expressed here through repeated, reverential worship (pūjā) of the liṅga at a consecrated tīrtha; the emphasis is on sustained devotion and surrender, not mere travel to the holy place.

Ritual practice is foregrounded: proper sequencing of snāna followed by pūjā (a kalpa-oriented, procedural dharma), indicating that correct observance and repetition are integral to tīrtha-ritual efficacy.
