Description of Pilgrimage to the Sacred Fords
अर्चयित्वा तु तां देवीं जागरं तत्र कारयेत् । तस्यार्द्धिः सकला देवि त्रैलोक्यस्यापि पूजितम् ॥ ४२ ॥
arcayitvā tu tāṃ devīṃ jāgaraṃ tatra kārayet | tasyārddhiḥ sakalā devi trailokyasyāpi pūjitam || 42 ||
Nachdem man jene Göttin gebührend verehrt hat, soll man dort eine Nachtwache, ein jāgaraṇa, veranstalten. O Göttin, die ganze Fülle von Gedeihen und Erlangung, die daraus entsteht, wird selbst in den drei Welten geehrt und verehrt.
