FAQs

It highlights satya (truthfulness) as a divine guarantee: when the Lord’s word is spoken, the intended dharmic outcome—here, the completion of a deva-kārya—becomes inevitable, even through extraordinary means like Mohinī-māyā.

Bhakti is strengthened by trust (śraddhā) in the Lord’s promise: the verse portrays Vishnu as the unfailing protector of cosmic order, assuring devotees that divine help manifests in the precise form needed for dharma.

The verse practically emphasizes vāṅ-niyama (discipline of speech) aligned with satya—an applied principle resonant with Vyākaraṇa and Nirukta traditions where precise, truthful speech is treated as power-bearing and outcome-shaping.
