Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
Narada (teaching the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It defines śuśrūṣā as sincere, truth-aligned attentiveness—reporting and responding as things truly are—rather than superficial, body-only service.
Bhakti matures through integrity and attentive obedience: the devotee serves with honest perception and speech, not merely by performing external acts of attendance.
It implicitly supports Vyākaraṇa and disciplined speech: correct, straightforward expression (saying ‘white’ as white, ‘black’ as black) as part of proper conduct in service.
