असाधिनीयं कार्यस्य भर्तृपुत्रविनाशिनी । कथं वरं तु गृह्णामि भवतां नाकवासिनाम् ॥ ५० ॥
asādhinīyaṃ kāryasya bhartṛputravināśinī | kathaṃ varaṃ tu gṛhṇāmi bhavatāṃ nākavāsinām || 50 ||
„Diese Bitte ist unmöglich zu erfüllen; sie würde den Untergang meines Gatten und meines Sohnes herbeiführen. Wie könnte ich da eine Gabe von euch annehmen, o Bewohner des Himmels?“
