Shloka 139

The Account of Kāṣṭhīlā (Kāṣṭhīlā-ākhyāna) within the Mohinī Narrative

ददौ मद्भर्तृसिद्ध्यर्थं विमुंचंतीं महार्चिषम् । एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु राक्षसः काममोहितः ॥ १३९ ॥

dadau madbhartṛsiddhyarthaṃ vimuṃcaṃtīṃ mahārciṣam | etasminneva kāle tu rākṣasaḥ kāmamohitaḥ || 139 ||

Sie brachte jene große, strahlende Darbringung dar und ließ sie frei, damit das Vorhaben ihres Gatten gelinge. In eben dieser Stunde trat jedoch ein rākṣasa, vom Begehren betört, heran und handelte.
