The Description of Mohinī’s Love Episode
दिनं न जानाति न चापि रात्रिं मासं च पक्षं च स वत्सरं च । अतीव मुग्धः सुरतेन तस्या विरंचिपुत्र्याः शुभचेष्टितायाः ॥ २६ ॥
dinaṃ na jānāti na cāpi rātriṃ māsaṃ ca pakṣaṃ ca sa vatsaraṃ ca | atīva mugdhaḥ suratena tasyā viraṃciputryāḥ śubhaceṣṭitāyāḥ || 26 ||
Er kannte weder Tag noch Nacht, weder Monat noch Halbmonat, ja nicht einmal das Jahr—so völlig war er durch die Vereinigung mit ihr betört, der Tochter Virāñcis (Brahmā), deren verführerische Regungen wie glückverheißend und lieblich erschienen.
