FAQs

It marks a sudden, tangible turning point in a narrative—an abrupt bodily consequence that typically signals the ripening of karma and sets up the need for dharmic remedy (often through tirtha-related acts in the Uttara-bhāga).

Direct bhakti instruction is not explicit here; the verse functions as story-momentum that, in the broader Uttara-bhāga style, leads characters toward seeking refuge in dharma, vows, and ultimately devotion through pilgrimage and worship.

No Vedāṅga technical teaching (like vyākaraṇa, jyotiṣa, or kalpa) is directly taught in this line; it is primarily narrative description used to frame subsequent dharmic or ritual guidance.
