„Bleibt hier, dem Befehl des Vaters gehorsam; wahrlich, ich selbst werde ihr dienen.“ So sprach er, ging hin, hob sie mit beiden Armen empor und setzte sie, als die fünfzehnte Stufe erreicht war, auf ein Lager.
Narrator (Purana narrator relaying the episode; dialogue line spoken by an unnamed male attendant/son figure within the story)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It highlights dharma expressed as obedience to parental instruction (pitr-ājñā) and selfless service (śuśrūṣā), portraying righteous conduct as a lived practice within the sacred narrative setting.
While not explicitly naming Vishnu-bhakti, it models the bhakti-principle of sevā (service) and humility—qualities that Narada Purana repeatedly treats as foundational dispositions for devotional life.
The verse primarily teaches dharmic conduct rather than a Vedanga; practically, it reinforces śiṣṭācāra (normative right behavior) and disciplined adherence to instruction, which underlies proper ritual and vrata observance in Purāṇic practice.
