Adhyaya 91The Gods’ Hymn to Kātyāyanī and the Goddess’ Prophecy of Future Manifestations

FAQs

Devotion is not transactional: the same Devī who grants well-being also disciplines egoic desire. True refuge yields stability, and the devotee’s maturation turns them into support for others.

This is theological instruction embedded in the Devī-ākhyāna; it supports dharma (proper aims and surrender) rather than describing sarga/manvantara/vaṃśa.

‘Tuṣṭā/ruṣṭā’ can be read as inner states: when consciousness aligns with Śakti, ailments dissolve; when it resists dharma, one’s projects collapse—driving the aspirant toward genuine surrender and service.
