ऋषिरुवाच नित्यैव सा जगन्मूर्तिस्तया सर्वमिदं ततम् । तथापि तत्समुत्पत्तिर्बहुधा श्रूयतां मम ॥
ṛṣir uvāca nityaiva sā jagan-mūrtis tayā sarvam idaṃ tatam | tathāpi tat-samutpattir bahudhā śrūyatāṃ mama ||
Der Weise sprach: „Sie ist wahrlich ewig, die Verkörperung der Welt; durch Sie ist all dies durchdrungen. Dennoch höre von mir von ihrem ‚Hervorgehen‘, wie es auf vielerlei Weise überliefert wird.“
