Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses
दत्तान्तु तां तदा कन्यामभिशान्त्य च भामिनीम् ।
जगाम दिव्यया गत्यागन्धर्वः स्वपुरं ततः ॥
dattāntu tāṃ tadā kanyām abhiśāntya ca bhāminīm / jagāma divyayā gatyā gandharvaḥ svapuraṃ tataḥ
Nachdem das Mädchen so übergeben worden war und nachdem die von Leidenschaft erregte Dame besänftigt worden war, zog der Gandharva sodann auf göttlichem Wege in seine eigene Stadt davon.
Before departure or closure, one should settle emotional turbulence; pacification (śānti) is portrayed as a necessary completion of any dharmic resolution.
