Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses

ममाप्येवं महद्रक्षः समुपैति पदानुगम् ।

न शृणोषि महानादं तस्यादूरेऽपि गर्जतः ॥

Transliteration

mamāpyevaṃ mahadrakṣaḥ samupaiti padānugam | na śṛṇoṣi mahānādaṃ tasyādūre 'pi garjataḥ ||

Translation

Sogar auf mich kommt ein großer Rākṣasa zu, dicht meinen Schritten folgend. Hörst du nicht sein gewaltiges Brüllen, obgleich er selbst aus der Ferne dröhnt?
