Adhyaya 61The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

ब्राह्मण उवाच येनोपायेन गच्छेयं निजगेहं शुचिस्मिते । तन्ममाचक्ष्व कल्याणि हानिर्नोऽखिलकर्मणाम् ॥

brāhmaṇa uvāca yenopāyena gaccheyaṃ nijagehaṃ śucismite | tan mamācakṣva kalyāṇi hānir no 'khila-karmaṇām ||

Der Brāhmaṇa sprach: „Auf welchem Wege kann ich in mein eigenes Haus gelangen, o du mit dem schönen Lächeln? Sage es mir, o glückverheißende Herrin, damit meine Riten und Pflichten in ihrer Gesamtheit keinen Verlust erleiden.“
