Adhyaya 56The Descent and Fourfold Course of the Ganga; Jambudvipa’s Varshas and Their Conditions

न चैतॆषु युगावस्था नाध्यो व्याधयो न च ।

पुण्यापुण्यसमारम्भो नैव तेषु द्विजोत्तम ॥

na caiteṣu yugāvasthā nādhyo vyādhayo na ca / puṇyāpuṇya-samārambho naiva teṣu dvijottama

Und in jenen Gegenden gibt es keine Zustände der Yugas, keine Bedrängnisse oder Krankheiten; und dort gibt es kein Unternehmen, das Verdienst oder Schuld erzeugt, o Bester der Zweimalgeborenen.
