Adhyaya 33Madālasa on the Fruit of Śrāddha Performed on Lunar Days and Nakṣatras

वेदवित्त्वमभिजिति भिषक्सिद्धन्तु वारुणे । अजाविकं प्रौष्ठपदे विन्देद् गास्तु तथोत्तरे ॥

vedavittvam abhijiti bhiṣaksiddhantu vāruṇe | ajāvikaṃ prauṣṭhapade vinded gās tu tathottare ||

Unter Abhijit erlangt man die Meisterschaft über den Veda; unter Vāruṇa erreicht man Erfolg als Arzt; unter Prauṣṭhapada erhält man Ziegen und Schafe; und unter Uttarā erhält man Kühe.
