सर्वसङ्गपरित्यागो ब्रह्मचर्यमकोपिता । यतेन्द्रियत्ममावासे नैकस्मिन् वसतिः चिरम् ॥

sarvasaṅgaparityāgo brahmacaryam akopitā | yatendriyatvam āvāse naikasmin vasatiś ciram ||

Das Aufgeben aller Anhaftungen, Enthaltsamkeit und Zornlosigkeit; die Zügelung der Sinne; und im Aufenthalt nicht lange an einem Ort zu verweilen — dies sind die Kennzeichen des vierten Āśrama.
