अस्माकं बान्धवानाञ्च तथान्येषां दयावताम् ।

शोच्या ह्येषा भवेदेवं यदि भर्त्रा वियोगिनी ॥

asmākaṃ bāndhavānāñ ca tathā anyeṣāṃ dayāvatām |

śocyā hy eṣā bhaved evaṃ yadi bhartrā viyoginī ||

Für unsere Verwandten—und ebenso für andere mitleidige Menschen—wäre sie wahrlich auf diese Weise zu beklagen, wenn sie von ihrem Gatten getrennt wäre.
