पारिब्ह ददौ कृष्ण: पाण्डवानां महात्मनाम् | स्त्रियो रत्नानि वासांसि पृथक् पृथगनेकश:
pāribhyaṃ dadau kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahātmanām | striyo ratnāni vāsāṃsi pṛthak pṛthag anekaśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Kṛṣṇa verlieh den großherzigen Pāṇḍavas Ehren-Gaben—Dienerinnen, Juwelen und Gewänder—vielerlei Art, jedem einzeln und in angemessenem Maß zugeteilt.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Honouring the worthy through appropriate, orderly generosity is part of dharma and royal conduct; gifts are not merely wealth-transfer but recognition of virtue and status.
The narrator reports that Kṛṣṇa presents the Pāṇḍavas with formal gifts of honour—women attendants, jewels, and garments—distributed individually and in abundance.
