पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्
Identification of the Pāṇḍavas in Virāṭa’s Court
ते सर्वतः सम्परिवार्य पार्थ- मस्त्राणि दिव्यानि समाददाना: । ववर्षुरभ्येत्य शरै: समन्ता- न्मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवर्गैं:
te sarvataḥ samparivārya pārtham astrāṇi divyāni samādadānāḥ | vavarṣur abhyetya śaraiḥ samantān meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvargaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Mit himmlischen Waffen gerüstet, umringten jene Krieger Pārtha von allen Seiten. Dann, aus jeder Richtung herandrängend, überschütteten sie ihn mit einem Pfeilhagel—wie Wolken von allen Seiten Wassermassen auf einen Berg ergießen.
