Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly

भविष्यत्यचिरादेव संग्रामे विजयस्तव । मम प्रसादान्निर्जित्य हत्वा कौरववाहिनीम्‌

bhaviṣyaty acirād eva saṅgrāme vijayas tava | mama prasādān nirjitya hatvā kaurava-vāhinīm ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Sehr bald wird der Sieg in der Schlacht der deine sein. Durch meine Gnade wirst du das Heer der Kauravas besiegen und vernichten; dann wirst du ein Reich ‘ohne Dornen’ (frei von Feinden und Hindernissen) regieren und erneut das Glück dieser Erde genießen. O König, zusammen mit deinen Brüdern wirst du vollkommene Freude erlangen.“
