कृप-अर्जुन रथयुद्धम्

Kṛpa–Arjuna Chariot Engagement

सर्व यथावच्चरितं यद्‌ यदेशि: प्रतिश्रुतम्‌ । एवमेतद्‌ ध्रुवं ज्ञात्वा ततो बीभत्सुरागत:,इन पाण्डवोंने जो-जो प्रतिज्ञाएँ की थीं, उन सबका यथावत्‌ पालन किया है; अवश्य इस बातको अच्छी तरह जानकर ही अर्जुन यहाँ आये हैं

sarva yathāvac caritaṃ yad yadeṣiḥ pratiśrutam | evam etad dhruvaṃ jñātvā tato bībhatsur āgataḥ ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „Welche Gelübde du auch abgelegt hast, du hast sie genau so erfüllt, wie du es zugesagt hattest. Da Bibhatsu (Arjuna) dies als gewiss wahr erkannt hat, ist er deshalb hierher gekommen.“
