Transliteration

karṇa uvāca | sarvān āyuṣmataḥ bhītān saṁtrastān iva lakṣaye | ayuddha-manasaś caiva sarvān eva anavasthitān |

Translation

Karna sprach: „Ich sehe euch alle — Männer langen Lebens — voller Furcht, als wärt ihr von Panik erschüttert. Keiner von euch scheint zum Kampf entschlossen, und alle wirkt ihr wankend und unbeständig.“
