Uttara’s Fear and Arjuna’s Martial Reassertion
स तेषां रूपमालोक्य भोगिनामिव जृम्भताम् | हृष्टरोमा भयोद्धिग्न: क्षणेन समपद्यत
sa teṣāṁ rūpam ālokya bhoginām iva jṛmbhatām | hṛṣṭaromā bhayoddhignaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als er ihre Gestalt sah — wie große Schlangen, die sich strecken und gähnen — packte ihn augenblicklich die Furcht; ihm sträubten sich die Haare, und in einem Moment war er überwältigt.
