रसा: स्पर्शाश्न गन्धाश्न शब्दाश्षापि गुणान्विता: । दृश्यानि च प्रसन्नानि यत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर:,“जहाँ राजा युधिष्ठिर होंगे, वहाँ रस, स्पर्श, गन्ध और शब्द--सभी विषय गुणकारी होंगे और मनको प्रसन्न करनेवाले दृश्य देखनेको मिलेंगे
rasāḥ sparśāś ca gandhāś ca śabdāś cāpi guṇānvitāḥ | dṛśyāni ca prasannāni yatra rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Wo immer König Yudhiṣṭhira weilt, werden die Gegenstände der Sinne — Geschmack, Berührung, Duft und Klang — mit heilsamen Qualitäten erfüllt, und die Anblicke dort sind erfreulich und herzerquicklich. Die Erzählung deutet an, dass ein im Dharma gegründeter Herrscher Harmonie und glückverheißende Kraft bis in die Atmosphäre um ihn her trägt.
