द्रौपदी-भीमसेनसंवादः

Draupadī–Bhīmasena Dialogue on Suffering, Kāla, and Daiva

सहदेवस्य वृत्तानि चिन्तयन्ती पुनः पुन: । न निद्रामभिगच्छामि भीमसेन कुतो रतिम्‌,भीमसेन! सहदेवकी दुर्दशाका बार-बार चिन्तन करनेके कारण मुझे कभी नींदतक नहीं आती; फिर सुख कहाँसे मिल सकता है?

sahadevasya vṛttāni cintayantī punaḥ punaḥ | na nidrām abhigacchāmi bhīmasena kuto ratim, bhīmasena ||

O Bhīmasena, indem ich immer wieder über das nachsinne, was Sahadeva widerfahren ist, finde ich nicht einmal Schlaf. Wenn schon der Schlaf selbst nicht zu mir kommt, wie könnte es dann Freude oder Herzensruhe geben, o Bhīmasena?
