द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्
Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena
(सा विनि:श्वस्य सुश्रोणी भूमावन्तर्मुखी स्थिता । तूष्णीमासीत् तदा दृष्टवा विवक्षन्तं युधिष्ठिरम् ।।) तदनन्तर सुन्दरी द्रौपदी लंबी साँस खींचकर नीचा मुख किये भूमिपर खड़ी हो गयी और राजा युधिष्ठिरको कुछ कहनेके लिये उद्यत देख वह स्वयं मौन रह गयी। अथाब्रवीदू राजपुत्रीं कौरव्यो महिषीं प्रियाम् । गच्छ सैरन्ध्रि मात्र स्था: सुदेष्णाया निवेशनम्,तब उन कुरुनन्दनने अपनी प्यारी रानीसे इस प्रकार कहा--'सैरन्ध्री! अब तू यहाँ न ठहर। रानी सुदेष्णाके महलमें चली जा
sā viniḥśvasya suśroṇī bhūmāv antarmukhī sthitā | tūṣṇīm āsīt tadā dṛṣṭvā vivakṣantaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram ||
Dann zog Draupadī, die Schönhüftige, tief den Atem ein und stand mit gesenktem Blick auf dem Boden. Als sie sah, dass Yudhiṣṭhira zu sprechen ansetzen wollte, schwieg sie selbst und hielt ihre Worte zurück—Selbstbeherrschung inmitten von Gefahr und Ungewissheit.
