Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
ततः स पुरुषव्यात्र: शार्ट्लशिथिलश्चरन् । प्रविवेश महारजं विराटम भिपूजयन्,तदनन्तर पुरुषसिंह भीमने सिंहके समान धीमी चालसे चलते हुए राजा विराटका मान रखनेके लिये उस विशाल रंगभूमिमें प्रवेश किया
tataḥ sa puruṣavyāghraḥ śāṭulaśithilaś caran praviveśa mahāraṅgaṃ virāṭam abhipūjayan
Dann betrat Bhīma, der Tiger unter den Menschen, mit absichtlich langsamem, gelöstem Schritt die große Arena—um König Virāṭa zu ehren und die Würde der königlichen Versammlung zu wahren.
