वैदूर्यपर्वतस्तत्र श्रीमान् मणिमय: शिव: । अगस्त्यस्याश्रमश्वैव बहुमूलफलोदक:,वहाँ परम सुन्दर मणिमय वैदूर्यपर्वत है जो शिवस्वरूप है। उसीपर महर्षि अगस्त्यका आश्रम है जो प्रचुर फल-मूल और जलसे सम्पन्न है
vaidūryaparvatastatra śrīmān maṇimayaḥ śivaḥ | agastyasyāśramaś caiva bahumūlaphalodakaḥ ||
Dhaumya sprach: „Dort erhebt sich der Vaidūrya-Berg, herrlich, wie aus Edelsteinen geschaffen, glückverheißend wie Śiva selbst. Und dort befindet sich auch die Einsiedelei des Weisen Agastya, reich versehen mit Wurzeln, Früchten und Wasser in Fülle.“
