दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure

दमयन्ती तथा वाग्भिरभिनन्द्य कृताज्जलि: । तौ परस्परत: प्रीतौ दृष्टवा त्वग्निपुरोगमान्‌

damayantī tathā vāgbhir abhinandya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tau parasparataḥ prītau dṛṣṭvā tv agnipurogamān ||

Damayantī begrüßte sie mit gefälligen Worten und gefalteten Händen in ehrfürchtiger Haltung. Als sie sah, dass beide einander zugetan und erfreut waren, richtete sie den Blick auf jene, die mit Agni an der Spitze voranschritten — ein glückverheißendes Zeichen, das ihre Eintracht und die Rechtmäßigkeit ihres Handelns bekräftigte.
