Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
अर्जुन उवाच शृणु सत्यं वरारोहे यत् त्वां वक्ष्याम्यनिन्दिते । शण्वन्तु मे दिशश्वैव विदिशश्व॒ सदेवता:,अर्जुनने कहा--वरारोहे! अनिन्दिते! मैं तुमसे जो कुछ कहता हूँ, मेरे उस सत्य वचनको सुनो। ये दिशा, विदिशा तथा उनकी अधिष्ठात्री देवियाँ भी सुन लें
arjuna uvāca: śṛṇu satyaṃ varārohe yat tvāṃ vakṣyāmy anindite | śṛṇvantu me diśaś caiva vidiśaś ca sa-devatāḥ ||
Arjuna sprach: „Höre die Wahrheit, o Schönhüftige, o Tadellose—vernimm, was ich dir sagen werde. Mögen die Himmelsrichtungen und die Zwischenrichtungen, samt ihren waltenden Gottheiten, Zeugnis ablegen für meine wahrhaftigen Worte.“
