पुपोष चैनं विधिवद्‌ ववृधे स च वीर्यवान्‌ । ततः प्रभृति चाप्यन्ये प्राभवन्नौरसा: सुता:,उसने विधिपूर्वक उस बालकका पालन-पोषण किया और वह धीरे-धीरे सबल होकर दिनोदिन बढ़ने लगा। तभीसे उस सूत-दम्पतिके और भी अनेक औरस पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए

Transliteration

pupoṣa cainaṃ vidhivad vavṛdhe sa ca vīryavān | tataḥ prabhṛti cāpyanye prābhavann aurasāḥ sutāḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Sie zog jenes Kind nach der gebührenden Ordnung, mit den rechten Riten und der angemessenen Fürsorge, auf; und es wuchs stetig heran, wurde stark und voller Kraft. Von da an zeugte auch das Wagenlenker-Ehepaar viele weitere rechtmäßige Söhne.
