इन्द्रजित् कृतकर्मा च पित्रे कर्म तदा55त्मन: । निवेद्य पुनरागच्छत् त्वरया55जि शिर:प्रति,इन्द्रजितने उस दिन युद्धमें जो पराक्रम कर दिखाया था, अपने उस वीरोचित कर्मको पितासे बताकर वह पुनः युद्धके मुहानेकी ओर लौटने लगा
Indrajit kṛtakarmā ca pitre karma tadātmanaḥ | nivedya punarāgacchat tvarayājī śiraḥprati ||
Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Indrajit, nachdem er seine Tat vollbracht hatte, meldete seinem Vater die heldenhafte Leistung, die er an jenem Tage vollführt hatte. Dann kehrte er in Eile wieder zur vordersten Front der Schlacht zurück, begierig, erneut in den Kampf zu treten.
