विभीषणस्तु धर्मात्मा सतां मार्गमनुस्मरन्‌ । अन्वगच्छन्महाराज श्रिया परमया युत:,महाराज! विभीषण धर्मात्मा थे। उन्होंने सत्पुरुषोंके मार्गकका ध्यान रखकर सदा अपने भाई कुबेरका अनुसरण किया; अतः वे उत्तम लक्ष्मीसे सम्पन्न हुए

Transliteration

Vibhīṣaṇas tu dharmātmā satāṁ mārgam anusmaran | anvagacchan mahārāja śriyā paramayā yutaḥ ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: „Vibhīṣaṇa war im Herzen rechtschaffen und hielt den Weg der Tugendhaften im Sinn. O König, da er diesem Pfad weiter folgte, wurde er mit höchstem Wohlstand gesegnet.“
