जयद्रथ-निग्रहः — Jayadratha Restrained, Shamed, and Released
एष ते वैष्णवो नाम यज्ञ: सत्पुरुषोचित:
eṣa te vaiṣṇavo nāma yajñaḥ satpuruṣocitaḥ |
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Dies ist das Opfer, das ‘Vaiṣṇava’ genannt wird und das ich dir dargelegt habe — eines, das wahren und tugendhaften Menschen ziemt. Es ist ein Ritus, auf Viṣṇu ausgerichtet und am Maß der Guten orientiert, nicht bloß ritueller Prunk.“
