प्रवर्ततां यथान्यायं सर्वतो हरनिवारित: । “भारत! उसी हलसे आपके यज्ञमण्डपकी भूमि जोती जाय। नृपश्रेष्ठ) उस जोती हुई भूमिमें ही उत्तम संस्कारसे सम्पन्न

Transliteration

pravartatāṃ yathānyāyaṃ sarvato haranivāritaḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Es soll nach rechter Vorschrift vor sich gehen, und von allen Seiten sei verhindert, dass man wegnimmt, was dem Ritus bestimmt ist. O Bhārata, der Boden deines Opferbezirks soll mit eben diesem Pflug gepflügt werden; und du, bester der Könige, auf diesem gepflügten Grund beginne das Opfer, wie es sich ziemt—wohlgeweiht durch die rechten Riten, reich an Speise und Trank und allen offenstehend.“
