प्रीत्या चाहं प्रयच्छामि हिरण्यं यावदिच्छसि । समेत्य रुक्मिणा कर्ण: पाण्ड्यंशैलं च सोडगमत्‌

Transliteration

prītyā cāhaṃ prayacchāmi hiraṇyaṃ yāvad icchasi | sametya rukmiṇā karṇaḥ pāṇḍyaṃśailaṃ ca soḍagamat |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Aus Wohlwollen will ich dir gern so viel Gold geben, wie du begehrst.“ Nachdem Karṇa sich Rukmī angeschlossen hatte, brach er auf und erreichte den Pāṇḍya-Berg.
