Transliteration

evam ete piśācānām asaṅkhyeyā gaṇāḥ smṛtāḥ | ghaṇṭāyāḥ sapatākāyāḥ śṛṇu me sambhavaṃ nṛpa ||

Translation

„So sind die unzähligen Scharen der Piśācas in Erinnerung gerufen worden. Nun aber, o König, höre von mir den Bericht über den Ursprung der Glocke und des Banners (die mit Skanda verbunden sind).“
