Properly performed yajña, guided by distinct mantras and lineage-based ritual knowledge, aligns human action with cosmic order; the oblation is received by Agni and is ultimately conveyed into the solar principle, symbolizing the return of offerings to their luminous source and the maintenance of ṛta/dharma.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a ritual-cosmic process: sages of the Bhṛgu and Aṅgiras traditions offer oblations with varied mantras; Agni receives the havya and then ‘enters’ the Sun, portraying the sacrificial fire as a conduit linking earthly rites to the celestial realm.
