ततो5हमपि कौन्तेय शराणामयुतान् बहून् आमन्त्रितानां धनुषा दिव्येन विधिनाक्षिपम्,कुन्तीनन्दन! तब मैंने भी अपने धनुषद्वारा दिव्य विधिसे अभिमन्त्रित किये हुए कई हजार बाण बरसाये
tato 'ham api kaunteya śarāṇām ayutān bahūn āmantritānāṃ dhanuṣā divyena vidhinā 'kṣipam
Daraufhin schoss auch ich, o Sohn der Kuntī, aus meinem göttlichen Bogen viele Zehntausende von Pfeilen ab—Pfeile, die nach heiligem Ritus mit Mantras geweiht waren—und begegnete der Gewalt mit gezügelter, dharmischer Macht.
वासुदेव उवाच
Power is to be exercised through restraint and proper method (vidhi): even in conflict, action should be disciplined, sanctioned, and purposeful—guided by dharma rather than impulse.
Vāsudeva addresses Arjuna and describes how he responded by releasing a vast volley of mantra-consecrated arrows from his divine bow, indicating a formidable yet controlled counteraction.
