हिरण्यपुरवर्णन–रौद्रास्त्रप्रयोगः
Hiraṇyapura Described and the Deployment of the Raudra Weapon
तेन तेषां प्रणुन्नानामाशुत्वाच्छीघ्रगामिनाम् । नान्वपश्यं तदा किंचित् तन्मे5द्भुतमिवा भवत्
tena teṣāṃ praṇunnānām āśutvāc chīghragāminām | nānvapaśyaṃ tadā kiṃcit tan me 'dbhūtam ivābhavat |
Arjuna sprach: „Weil sie so vorangetrieben wurden und wegen ihrer Schnelligkeit, da sie rasch dahinjagten, konnte ich damals überhaupt nichts erkennen. Das erschien mir wie ein Wunder.“
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights the limits of ordinary perception: when events move with overwhelming speed and force, even a skilled observer may fail to discern details, and the mind registers the experience as ‘adbhuta’ (wondrous/astonishing).
Arjuna narrates that certain beings or forces, once impelled onward, moved so swiftly that he could not clearly perceive anything at that moment; he reports his astonishment at this extraordinary occurrence.
