आर्शिषिण उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it teaches indirectly by signaling that the preceding material is a complete, framed dialogue episode (Ārdiṣeṇa–Yudhiṣṭhira) within the Yakṣa-yuddha context, inviting the reader to treat it as a coherent ethical-discursive unit.
The narrator/editorial voice marks the end of the chapter: the 159th adhyāya of the Vana Parva, situated in the Yakṣa-yuddha section, whose subject is the conversation between Ārdiṣeṇa and Yudhiṣṭhira.
