Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
#::3:.8 #::3-..:7 () हि २ 7 षष्टर्याधिकशततमो< ध्याय: पाण्डवोंका आर्टशिषेणके आश्रमपर निवास, द्रौपदीके अनुरोधसे भीमसेनका पर्वतके शिखरपर जाना और यक्षों तथा राक्षसोंसे युद्ध करके मणिमान्का वध करना जनमेजय उवाच आर्डिषेणाश्रमे तस्मिन् मम पूर्वपितामहा: । पाण्डो: पुत्रा महात्मान: सर्वे दिव्यपराक्रमा:,जनमेजयने पूछा--ब्रह्मन! गन्धमादन पर्वतपर आर्टिषेणके आश्रममें मेरे समस्त पूर्वपितामह दिव्य पराक्रमी महामना पाण्डव कितने समयतक रहे? वे सभी महान् पराक्रमी और अत्यन्त बल-पौरुषसे सम्पन्न थे। वहाँ रहकर उन्होंने क्या किया?
janamejaya uvāca |
ārtiṣeṇāśrame tasmin mama pūrvapitāmahāḥ |
pāṇḍoḥ putrā mahātmānaḥ sarve divyaparākramāḥ ||
Janamejaya sprach: „O Brahmane, als meine Ahnen—die Söhne Pāṇḍus, allesamt hochgesinnt und mit göttlicher Kraft erfüllt—in jener Einsiedelei des Ārtiṣeṇa weilten, wie lange blieben sie dort? Und was taten sie, während sie an diesem Ort lebten?“
