जामदग्न्यस्य विलापः, प्रतिज्ञा, क्षत्रिय-निग्रहः, दानयज्ञश्च
Jāmadagnya Rāma’s Lament, Vow, Kṣatriya Suppression, and Gifts
एवं वैरमभूत् तस्य क्षत्रियैलोकवासिभि: । पृथिवी चापि विजिता रामेणामिततेजसा,इस तरह उनका सम्पूर्ण जगतके क्षत्रियोंक साथ वैर हुआ था और उसी समय अमित तेजस्वी परशुरामजीने सारी पृथ्वी जीती थी
evaṁ vairam abhūt tasya kṣatriyair lokavāsibhiḥ | pṛthivī cāpi vijitā rāmeṇāmitatejasā ||
So geriet er in Feindschaft mit den Kṣatriyas, die in der ganzen Welt wohnten; und eben damals eroberte Rāma (Paraśurāma) von unermesslichem Glanz die ganze Erde.
राम उवाच
The verse highlights how unchecked hostility can expand into a world-wide feud, and it juxtaposes that social rupture with the fact of overwhelming conquest. Implicitly it invites reflection on dharma: power may win territory, but ethical order depends on restraint and right conduct, not merely victory.
Rāma (Paraśurāma) describes the situation in which enmity arose between a certain person (referred to as 'tasya') and the Kṣatriyas across the world, and he notes that at that time Paraśurāma, endowed with immeasurable splendor, conquered the earth.
