सृजन्तं राक्षसीं मायां महानादनिनादितम्‌ । मुज्चन्तं विपुलान्‌ू नादान्‌ सतोयमिव तोयदम्‌,वह भयंकर गर्जनाके साथ राक्षसी मायाकी सृष्टि कर रहा था। सजल जलधरके समान जोर-जोरसे सिंहनाद करता था

Transliteration

sṛjantaṃ rākṣasīṃ māyāṃ mahānādanināditam | muñcantaṃ vipulān nādān satoyam iva toyadam ||

Translation

Vidura schildert eine furchterregende Gestalt, die eine dämonische Māyā heraufbeschwor und die Umgebung mit gewaltigem, donnerndem Lärm erfüllte. Wie eine regenbeladene Wolke stieß sie unablässig ungeheure Brülllaute aus und steigerte durch bloßen Klang und Schaustellung Angst und Verwirrung.
